We’re taking our STEAM themes around the world, giving junior scientists the opportunity to explore chemistry and beyond through a multicultural lens. With new equipment, new experiments, and the same passion for science and learning, this year promises to be our most exciting yet. A full school-year option is available.

Regular Day- 3:00 - 5:00PM

Extended Stay- 5:00- 5:30 PM

PS 217 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
PS 130 - Wednesdav only
PS 134 - Wednesday and Friday

We offer flexible payment options: full, monthly, or daily.

A $10 daily pick-up fee applies, and extended care until 5:30 PM is available for an additional $15 per day.

The pick-up fee is included in the monthly plan but not in the full or daily options (it will be added at checkout).

Semester options include the full school year, fall, winter, or spring. Please choose what works best for your family.

Our Mission

Our after-school program blends creative activities with project-based learning, all building toward one central project each semester. Each day features a different science theme inspired by exploring the world, along with snacks, homework help, games, and plenty of fun.

Daily Schedule
2:30–3:00 PM: School pick-up by MCP staff or 3:00 PM drop-off
3:00–3:15 PM: Snack & refresh (snack provided)
3:15–3:30 PM: Homework help
3:30–4:30 PM: Theme-based experiment (project learning)
4:30–5:00 PM: Science games & pick-up

What activities are included in the afterschool program?

The program includes hands-on activities, guided lessons, and engaging projects designed to encourage learning, creativity, and exploration.

Are snacks provided?

Light snacks are provided depending on the program.

How do I register my child?

Registration is available through our website. Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is the cancellation or makeup policy?

We are unable to offer makeup classes, as each day features a different theme and lesson that cannot be easily repeated. The afterschool program is non-refundable.

How many staff members are on site?

There is one instructor and two lab assistants on site at all times. All staff members have educational training and relevant experience.

Are all afterschool lessons planned in advance?

Yes, all lessons are planned in advance so materials can be ordered and prepared ahead of time.

Can my child attend if they do not go to a local school?

Yes. Children who do not attend a local school may join the program as a drop-off participant. Drop-off begins at 3:00 PM.

What is the age range for the afterschool program?

The program is designed for children ages 5 to 12. Please review the themed days to determine which sessions are the best fit for your child’s interests.
