Welcome to Make Chem Possible, a kid-friendly science center in Brooklyn, NY, where young scientists build curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking through hands-on STEM experiments. From bubbling chemistry reactions to engineering challenges, our programs make science fun, creative, and easy to understand for children.

A blended professional development program that strengthens K–12 science teachers' implementation of project-based learning, inquiry-based instruction, and laboratory-centered teaching through three workshops and three online modules. The program emphasizes active learning, collaboration, reflection, and classroom application.

Learn how to design NGSS-aligned, density-focused project-based learning (PBL) lessons for K–12 classrooms. This professional development program equips educators with practical strategies to differentiate instruction across grade levels while supporting diverse learners in a single classroom setting.

Watch the density video and complete the questions as if you were an elementary student. Use only the information and examples provided in the video. Avoid answering from your own background knowledge as an educator.
Watch the density video and complete Part 1 as if you were a middle or high school student encountering the content during a science lesson.
Although you may already understand density, respond using only the explanations, vocabulary, and examples presented in the video.
Watch the STEM & Project-Based Learning (PBL) video, designed for educators across all grade levels. After viewing, complete the short survey by rating your confidence for each statement using the provided scale.
Watch Bring Science to Life! NGSS Tips & Hands-On Lessons to explore practical NGSS strategies and hands-on science instruction. After viewing, complete the confidence survey below.
Complete the asynchronous journal and confidence survey after each professional development video to reflect on your learning and connect new strategies to your classroom practice. Email completed work to admin@makechempossible.com
